Fundraiser Program
Our commitment to our community runs deep, which is why we are proud to offer our Fundraiser Jewelry Program. Through this initiative, we've been able to collaborate with and donate to numerous worthy organizations.
Every year, we select a handful of nonprofits located in the Upper Peninsula and create a custom silver pendant for each of them that can be purchased both in-store and online. We donate a portion from every piece of jewelry sold back to the organization.
To date, we've been able to give back over $53,000 to local nonprofits! Applications for our Fundraiser Program are now closed, but if you are a nonprofit based in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, be sure to sign up for our newsletter for a notification when we reopen applications in the first quarter of the year.
Marquette Fringe
The "Mythical Moth" boasts its ethereal whimsy with a luna moth situated in front of a column arch, sparkling stars, and a shining crescent moon. You might recognize this moth logo if you're familiar with Marquette Fringe, an organization dedicated to providing a place for those interested in non-traditional forms of the performing arts! We're a big fan of their flagship event, the Fall Phantasm which hosts all sorts of artists during the day long festival. This pendant is perfect for those who love the performing arts, or are just big fans of the elusive moths.
Keweenaw Wild Bird Rec
The Keweenaw Wild Bird REC is an non-profit dedicated to rehabilitation, providing education to school-aged children, and conservation! This organization provides their invaluable services for the entirety of the UP; an impressive feat considering all the migratory bird species living here. We think this pendant makes a fantastic choice for anyone who loves bird watching or is passionate about animal rehabilitation!
Copper Country Community Art Center
This pendant is more than just a beautiful piece of jewelry. It represents a commitment to art, education, and community in the Keweenaw Peninsula! It's no wonder this pendant belongs to CCCAC, an arts center based in Hancock, MI. They function as an artistic cornerstone for their local community by offering classes and programs for people of all ages, operating three different galleries for artists to sell and show off their work, accepting internships for those in high school and college, and installing artwork into local businesses!
Marquette County Conservation District
The MCCD aims "to preserve, protect, and maintain the resources and people that give this land its identity." This organization does this through community events and programs, offering advice regarding land resources, and assisting in finding suitable grants for landowners. This pendant is a match made in heaven for any nature lover or conservationist!
Donations
At Beth Millner Jewelry, we are passionate about making a difference in our community. Each month, we donate a limited number of jewelry pieces to local charities and benefits. We have proudly donated to the organizations listed below, and we are always looking for new ways to support our community. If your organization or event is in need of a jewelry donation, please don't hesitate to contact us. We would be delighted to discuss the possibility of helping you.
For every item purchased from the Artisan Goods Collection, we will plant a tree in a National Forest in collaboration with the National Forest Foundation. Visit our artisan good collection and help us give back to the environment.
