I received this ring as an engagement ring last April, and even a year later, it’s just as beautiful as it was when I got it. My husband did all of the correspondence with Beth and her team and said they were phenomenal, responsive, and even supportive of his vision and timeline. He custom ordered it in white gold, and paired it with the narrow twig ring as the wedding band. I initially was worried about the twig etchings in the bands clogging with dirt and debris over time, but this has not at all been an issue. Only occasionally do things get stuck in between the stones due to my forgetting to take it off when working with dough of any kind, but it’s really easy to clean. It’s lightweight and absolutely perfect. When we learned that we would be unable to resize this ring once the greenstone is set, we went to multiple jewelers in our area, as we are not local to Marquette, to get an average size before solidifying. We also learned that the size can vary depending on the width of the band chosen, and with a narrow band like this one, you can air on the side of smaller without feeling like it’s stuck, and that’s exactly what we did - and it worked out wonderfully. All in all, if you’re looking for a beautiful, unique, Michigan focused, supporting a small Michigan business- type ring, this is a solid choice. I get so many compliments on it, and no matter where I end up, Michigan will always come with me and I relish in that. It’s the type of ring that I look forward to being able to pass down to my children or grandchildren in the future.
I never thought I'd find a ring that I liked but I saw this and I just knew it was the one! We did a custom order with white gold. Beth's team was super accommodating and even shipped the ring to me before setting the stone to make sure the size was just right. Fair warning - this ring cannot be resized after the greenstone is set. I am SO happy with the final result and cried (tears of joy) for like 2 minutes before I said yes. It's quite thin and light and most of the time I can't even feel it on my hand. I've gotten so many compliments on it and I was thrilled to be able to support a Michigan business. Thank you Beth!
