As we announced earlier this summer, we're partnering with the Keweenaw Wild Bird Rescue, Copper Country Community Arts Center (CCCAC), Marquette County Conservation District (MCCD), and Marquette Fringe for our Jewelry Fundraiser Program. Nina took the summer to design all four of these amazing organization's their own pendants, and now - we're more than delighted to show them off to you!

The best part of these charming pendants (outside of their unique designs!) is the fact they give back! For every purchase of one of these sterling silver pendants, 50$ is donated back to the corresponding organization.

The "Artistry Pallet" features a simple artist's pallet with paints, and a paintbrush lying across it. This pendant is more than just a beautiful piece of jewelry. It represents a commitment to art, education, and community in the Keweenaw Peninsula! It's no wonder this pendant belongs to CCCAC, an arts center based in Hancock, MI. They function as an artistic cornerstone for their local community by offering classes and programs for people of all ages, operating three different galleries for artists to sell and show off their work, accepting internships for those in high school and college, and installing artwork into local businesses!

The "Mythical Moth" boasts its ethereal whimsy with a luna moth situated in front of a column arch, sparkling stars, and a shining crescent moon. You might recognize this moth logo if you're familiar with Marquette Fringe, an organization dedicated to providing a place for those interested in non-traditional forms of the performing arts! We're a big fan of their flagship event, the Fall Phantasm which hosts all sorts of artists during the day long festival. The MCCD aims "to preserve, protect, and maintain the resources and people that give this land its identity." This organization does this through community events and programs, offering advice regarding land resources, and assisting in finding suitable grants for landowners. The Keweenaw Wild Bird REC is an non-profit dedicated to rehabilitation, providing education to school-aged children, and conservation! This organization provides their invaluable services for the entirety of the UP; an impressive feat considering all the migratory bird species living here.
